About Mike Kennedy

Wellbeing and Promotional Mental Health Coach & Consultant

Mike’s fascination with the minds role in living a healthy, high-performing life started as an elite athlete living in New Zealand and Ireland. Learning from the best and being helped by mental health professionals along the way, led to Mike studying psychology.

Since then, he has become specially trained in mental health from a salutogenic perspective, starting with elite athlete wellbeing. Mike focuses on the practical integration of knowledge and skills by looking at our full context - to ensure we aren’t simply looking for signs to ‘treat’ our symptoms.

Mike continues to work closely with the world leading Wellbeing Science Institute as well as running a business that aligns with applying a salutogenic approach with young people, athletes, and high-achievers. This approach aims to empower people with the knowledge and skills to feel good, function well, and apply solutions that move them towards the person they want to be, and the life they want to lead.
